Some pictures

The one on the left is me, as I was in 1993. Ever since then, I've tried to avoid cameras if at all possible. I know this is a rather formal outfit for a woodworker, but the suit and tie are my day time uniform at the office.

On the right is my lovely wife, Karen. This picture is an old one, and I'm probably going to get some grief for using it. I'm a very lucky man though, to be married to a beautiful woman with a nature that matches her lovely exterior.

Time changes everyone, I guess. It's time to let y'all know what we look like today. This was taken a few months ago, before poor Rusty died. It was taken as a "family" portrait. I am 60 here, Karen 48, Rusty 10.

The little princess on the left is Reyanna, our granddaughter. The top picture is when she was about 1½ and the bottom was taken at 3½. The bottom photo caught her looking over some new purchases at the age of 6. Her mom is my daughter, Erynn, and her dad is Rick. One of these days I'll talk Rick into letting me put some of his poetry on this page.

This little girl is a real angel, always good natured, always happy, never cries or gets cranky, although I'll bet her mother knows better. I suppose we're probably biased, too.

On the right is the first picture of grandson Ryan, who is brand new. He was born in January of 2000 and is too new to have developed an individual personality. He sure is sure a cute little guy, and looks like he just might have a woodworkers hands.

The bottom photo is the baby with some old geezer holding him, and just below that is the little guy at 2½ sitting on a little chainsawed stool I won at a lumberjack demonstration in Victoria, B.C.

Another love. I've owned a lot of convertibles over the years, but the Oldsmobiles have always been my favorites.

We've had this 1971 Cutlass Supreme for about ten years now, and it's perfect for the balmy summer evenings we have here in Manitoba.

This is where we live. We've been extremely happy with our house. It's cozy in the cold Canadian winters, and is surrounded with Karen's flowers during our beautiful Canadian summers.

It's about 1800 square feet, not including my workshop in the basement.
